How to read histograms and what does it do?

This week, we will be looking at how to understand the histograms. We look at how to set up the camera for best results. Histograms are broken down into several parts and it is important that we know what these different parts mean and how they effect the image.

Learn about percentage numbers, why no histograms are wrong in photography. What do the numbers mean and how do they effect blacks, shadows, highlights and exposure.

Many people think that you must have a perfect histogram and we look at why that isn’t always the case. Depending on the subject the decision is yours.
