She is half-Vietnamese and half-French with an amber complexion and has thick dark hair, although if you have models who have their backs to the camera or are looking to the side/away, then this shouldn’t be an issue. She needs to wear 1940s clothing or we could go for traditional Vietnamese clothing also. Bear in mind the setting is Hanoi, so winter coats and jackets won’t work. So long as it looks timeless and suitable for the exotic location we can be flexible. For the background, we would like to try bolts of silk, preferably in a traditional looking shop/stall/street in Vietnam/Hanoi. Or just beautiful Hanoi background. There should be a strong sense of period and the exotic setting – late 1940s/1950s Hanoi, French Indochina. Even though the book is late 1940s/1950s, we want contemporary colour images.
