Client Brief : We have quite an open brief and it would be great to see lots of different interpretations. We are looking for an image to show a mothers’ love for her two daughters ages 11-18 and the desire to protect them, and the girls’ reliance on their mother. This doesn’t have to be a literal image, but it could be more suggestive of the emotional bond between them. For example two shoulders pressed together, side-by-side … a detail that conveys the message or perhaps some teenage/children’s shoes next to a mother’s shoes or a mother brushing the daughter’s hair or buttoning up her dress or a fastening a necklace or something? The image shouldn’t be dark but look lovely and aspirational and relatable.
