The child’s gender needs to be a mystery, so no obvious boy or girl related items/clothes/hairstyles. The child is under 5. Woman could be holding child, hands holding, baby items, mother child could be against a sunset etc. Alternatively images of women in thoughtful, pensive poses could work. We need to know this is a powerful story about maternal love, loss and difficult choices.
