Arcangel Images have seen some beautiful cover designs coming out of Poland recently and an upsurge in client requests for period and historical imagery.  A great example of simplicity, colour grading and effective type placement can be seen below in the stunning cover for Potomek Tudorow.

Below we can see a darker style of photography used to great effect with the book cover designer going for a minimalist effect allowing the type colour to bring the image to the fore.
