This is a great little video from SLR Lounge. The guys talk about the differences between filters but also their application whether it be footage or stills. Most of us will have some experience with filters which means we have also probably asked ourselves questions around the green cast or the x-pattern they can often create.

There is also a question around price. Given you can buy filters from a few dollars to a few hundred and more, it’s easy to get confused. On top of that, what’s the difference with variable ND’s versus single pane filters.
