Client Brief : Images to be aspirational and contemporary.

1. Woman by a lake, not in it. If she is wearing a floaty/flowing dress so much the better. It does need to look natural though, so not too dramatic, but should look beautiful. The woman is strawberry blond, curls to the shoulder, fresh, freckles, a young 43. don’t let description limit you too much, as I guess various things could be retouched if need be.

2. Beautiful shots of a lake, The lake in the story is in Indiana USA, She describes the fall there, so beautiful autumn trees reflected in the water could be lovely, or a shot of a boathouse on shore of lake or a beautiful house on shore of lake, nothing too built up as the house in the book is quite isolated.

3. Beautiful interior shots, to show evidence of a family life there, lived in, but no people present, beautiful lighting, sun shining through the window, atmospheric, perhaps a child’s toy on the floor or a pair of shoes abandoned, steaming cup of tea left. A beautiful family home feel.

4. Women with anonymity, meaning face should not be seen, back view or possibility of cropping off and still having an engaging image left, she is perhaps involved in some activity, baking, sewing, going for a walk, gardening, picking a flower, holding hands or hugging a small child-a girl (4years old) etc Everyday activity, but beautifully shot, atmospheric lighting.

5. Trees- A beautiful tree in an English countryside vale, or a tree with a treehouse in it, perhaps children playing below it, perhaps a child sitting in the branches of a tree.

6. Atmospheric still life – a chair, a child’s cuddly toy on it, boys or girls shoes abandoned, on it or below it, group of picture frames on a wall or the wall where picture frames used to be hung, evidence of a picture having been there, wall faded around it a music stand, a musical instrument-guitar. The story goes between an idyllic life in the English countryside and on the shores of a lake in Indiana. Note to contributors: Please do not supply images already in the collection, as they would already have been sent.
