Client Brief : We are looking for four images:
– Carousel – the picture should be slightly ‘off’ giving a sinister vibe, so it could be a low/strange angle or slightly rusty, old carousel looking a bit worn and off key (no people – think Only We Know by Karren Perry)
– a young girl (19/20 years) sitting on a bench in a rural ish setting (just not urban) she should be alone. In the book she sits by a lake on a college/uni campus.
– a coat hanging up on a hook or abandoned/lost looking (left on floor/bench etc). The coat should look like it belongs to the girl on the bench.
– An empty sun lounger by a pool but again, like the carousel, slightly off key. Could be worn and dirty looking or like it’s by a disused villa that has been shut up for the season – with autumn leaves in the swimming pool. So either run-down looking or shut-up looking.
