Client Brief : We need images of a swimming pool, but rather than just being beautiful/aspirational it should hint at darker undertones that run throughout the book. Should feel sinister/threatening (but not too crime-like!) Could be a swimming pool at night as there is a key scene at the end of the novel with a party at the lido. Also an image of a view from under/in the water looking up at people/party surrounding the pool? Look at jackets for Helen Walsh The Lemon Grove and Harriet Lane Her for reference This needs to be a modern/contemporary colour photo with a sense of threat about it but at the same time not too crime-y.
